For many months it is clear to say there has been obvious media bias against President Trump.
The American public is growing tired of the endless negative coverage, and sure appreciates the authentic truth about the progress the president and his administration have made.
Americans are ready for some good news, however, the press…
Not so much.
Trump and his administration will continue to lead this nation proudly, as he pushes back against their criticism.
“This is a president who fights fire with fire and certainly will not allow himself to be bullied by a liberal media and the liberal elites within the media or Hollywood or anywhere else,” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told Fox News.
On Thursday, President Donald Trump said he had a big announcement coming soon from his rally in West Virginia.
That announcement turned out to be the party switch of Jim Justice, West Virginia’s Democratic governor, who said he is leaving his party to join the Republicans. The switch is a blow to Democrats nationally who now only hold 15 governorships. Trump brought the governor up on stage to give some remarks on the switch. According to Independent Journal Review’s reporting, Justice said:
“I can’t help you anymore being a Democrat governor,” he said. “So tomorrow, I will be changing my registration to Republican.”
And at that revelation, the crowd went absolutely nuts.
Justice went on to talk about his late parents and how they were always big admirers of former President Ronald Reagan. He said he believes that his parents are now in heaven, excited about his switch.
He then imagined his mom saying, “Jimmy, it’s about damn time you came to your senses.”
Justice also offered plenty of praise for his “friend,” Donald Trump.
“This man is a good man,” he said of Trump. “He’s got a backbone, he’s got real ideas, he cares about America, he cares about us in West Virginia. And most importantly of all, you know what, he has made us as common every day Americans feel good and be proud of who we are.”
Trump then went on to call the Russia investigation a “total fabrication,” saying that it was just an “excuse for the greatest loss in the history of American politics,” referring to his victory over Hillary Clinton. With all the intrigue over Trump, Russia, and the party switch of a consequential state governor, the Trump rally should have been huge national news.
However, it seems that the rally and announcements were not big enough for two cable news networks. Here is what the cable networks looked like at 7:46 p.m.:
FOX NEWS: Trump rally.
FOX BUSINESS: Trump rally.
Even CNN reporters noted the odd decision:
Fox taking Trump WV speech. CNN and MSNBC are not.
