If I could get a group of liberals into a room right now I would shake every single one of them by the head, neck and shoulders and tell them to drop their damn swords for two seconds!
I mean, I have had relatives that I did not like; but if one of them really needed some help I would give it to them. There are folks in my family that I was in one kind of piss with at one point or another but when they needed to go to the hospital I either drove them or did something for them that made going easier.
I didn’t sit and poke them with a sharp stick while the ambulance is on its way.
Congressman Scalise is in a bad way, and there is a time and a place for everything. The time and place for someone to air their grievances with someone is damn sure not when someone is in the critical care ward of a hospital!
Despite the fact that Majority Whip Steve Scalise is still in the hospital and recovering from injuries sustained in Wednesday’s shooting, that hasn’t stopped MSNBC from bashing him just three days later.
MSNBC host Joy Ann Reid portrayed Scalise as an extremist on Saturday, and didn’t hold back in attacking him.
Check it out (per Daily Caller): “There’s a whole country out there and a lot of people, at least in my Twitter timeline, and it’s a delicate thing, because everybody is wishing the congressman well and hoping that he recovers, but Steve Scalise has a history that we’ve all been forced to sort of ignore on race,” Reid claimed.
“He did come to leadership after some controversy over attending a white nationalist event, which he says he didn’t know what it was,” Reid said.
The comment was made in reference to an incident in 2002, in which Scalise mistakenly accepted an invitation to speak to a white nationalist group about tax legislation.
“He also co-sponsored a bill to amend the Constitution to define marriage as between a man and a woman. He co-sponsored the House healthcare bill, which as you said would gut healthcare for millions of people including three million children and he cosponsored a bill to repeal the ban on semiautomatic weapons,” Reid continued, bashing Scalise for holding mainstream Republican positions.
